Constipation is very common, such as whether they read the previous article. And as is so common one might ask, why treat it?. But although common, treatment is very important. First of all, for it improves patient comfort, but also to prevent diseases of the anal and perianal region.

Diet in Diabetic and Hypertensive Patients

Today I was in Murcia, in an advanced course Pronokal Diet and talked about the importance of this type of diet in diabetic and hypertensive patients. The truth is that this diet has impressed me for its therapeutic potential. Not only is very effective for weight loss but also a diabetic and hypertensive patients were also improved in all metabolic parameters. Speakers Dr. Soré Dr. Molins and data have shown their experience from six years ago in Barcelona and achieved remarkable control and most importantly, reducing or even eliminating the majority of medicines.

For those not familiar, Pronokal Diet is a dietary protein. It is based on a careful amount of protein in each of the five meals that are made daily and a high consumption of vegetables. It consists of eight phases, but are the first phases, active phases of getting the weight loss and metabolic control. Dietary Effects on Pregnant Women

Some days ago we mentioned that the pregnant woman’s diet affects baby’s health. In the same vein, but related to allergies, a Japanese study has found that eating fruits and vegetables during pregnancy helps prevent certain baby allergies like eczema and asthma.

Increasing the consumption of green and yellow vegetables, citrus fruits, and vegetables and fruits rich in beta carotene (the red and orange) decreases the risk of the baby suffering from eczema, an inflammatory skin disease of allergic origin.

For its part, increasing the consumption of foods rich in vitamin E, present in most green vegetables, reduces the risk of the baby suffering from respiratory difficulties, as reported in the journal Allergy. (more…)
